Chapter I & II

A word about myself

Started life as an Advertising Copywriter – March 1979 – then one fine day (4^th April, 1986, to be more precise) disappeared to the Himalayas. Toured the entire nation and several parts of the world learning – and teaching – Yoga, Meditation and other aspects of Spirituality. Lived with and learned from BKS Iyengar, Maharshi Mahesh Yogi, Bihar School of Yoga, Vipassana Meditation Center, Sivananda Ashram, Rishikesh and Kerala, Brahmakumaris, Swami Chinmayananda, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Sri T. Krishnamacharya, Pattabhi Jois WHAT YOGA AND SPIRITUALITY ARE NOT.

Subsequent visits to remote parts of rural India – seaside’s, riversides, countryside’s, mountainsides, deserts, plains – resulted in meetings with Mystics and Psychics who, finally, showed the real way to Yoga and Spirituality. Enrolled into an ancient Arya Samaj Gurukul to learn Sanskrit, Ayurveda and Vedic Scriptures in.

Returned home, to Mumbai, after 12 years with Blessings, Divine Herbs and many, many Healing Techniques and restarted life as a Copywriter, turned Creative Director, in a year, then quit the business to do a brief stint as Chief Sub-Editor for a leading National Newspaper. Finally, turned to Digital Writing, Short Stories and Novels while practicing Yoga, Reiki and Spiritual Healing.
